About
Dr Ali Haider
When completed MBBS and securing excellent result from very famous and reknown Ayub Medical College Abbottabad in 1989 started internships in Lady Reading hospital Peshawar the biggest, oldest and famous in the province.
I got experience and good training in this period. I got scholarship for MS, PhD in neurosurgery from Russian Neurosurgical Research Institute Saint Petersburg, Russia. This institute is one of the oldest institutions of the world was established in 1926. This institute had 220 beds and all sub specialties of neurosurgery.
I did six years residency from 1990 to 1996 and completed MS and PhD succesfuly and got Red Diploma which is an honour considering a gold medal. I enjoyed the research, training and skills during this period. This is the state of the art hospital in the world. postmortem of every dead patient and electron microscopy was a great learning for us.
